Mass Effect Andromeda is a big game with a whole lot going on. It’s complex enough without worrying how you’re going to be build your character. Sometimes you just need a little help with that.
These guides are intended to give new players, or veterans looking to try something different, a helping hand when it comes to kitting out a new profile for their Ryder. They go over the basic strengths and weaknesses of the class, a few sample builds, including what upgrades to take at ranks four, five and six. Along with this are other bits and pieces of information such as recommended party members to take along to compliment the playstyle, as well as some weapons to consider.
As always, these guides are not intended to be the “perfect” most over-powered thing you can do with any of Mass Effect Andromeda’s classes. Instead they’re intended as a helpful guide and stepping stone which you can tweak and customise to your own preferred playstyle, and, hopefully, they make playing the game more fun.Needless to say if you have any improvements or suggestions of your own don’t hesitate to leave a comment down below. That way, we can all benefit from any new strategies you have discovered.
Infiltrator Profile
The Infiltrator is the finesse fighter of Mass Effect Andromeda’s combat-related classes. Whilst the Soldier and Vanguard focus on dealing heavy damage purely through raw attack power, (and very big guns), the Infiltrator is capable of more precise damaging attacks from further away. The profile’s unique ability, Battlefield Awareness, allows Ryder to see enemies through walls provided s/he is looking down a scope, meaning the a sniper rifle is an obvious fit for this class.
The Infiltrator has access to all of the sweet skills from the tech tree, along with a tech cooldown bonus, allowing it to also deal with all kinds of protection, such as armor and shields. This is what makes the Infiltrator so fun to play as well; it has access to a ton of different toys to play with, and is remarkably flexible to boot.

If the class had one Achilles’ Heel it would be that it can struggle with multiple enemies at once. The focus on precision attacks that target weak points, and its ability requiring the player to look down a scope, means that it’s possible for the Infiltrator to become ambushed and overwhelmed. Whilst their damage output is incredibly strong, it’s also focused on one enemy at a time, meaning it’s not as suited for dealing with swarms of weaker foes.

This is a typical versatile long-range Infiltrator build that plays to the strengths of the class. Tactical Cloak was previously this class’ unique ability and it works incredibly well here, ramping up those sniper rifle shots to incredible levels of damage.
Overload and Incinerate throw a potent tech combo into the mix and allow the build to handle all kinds of protection on its own. It’s worth keeping an eye on the weight level of this class, as a sniper rifle and an assault rifle are likely to push up your weight total significantly, so keep an eye on those cooldown rates.
The sniper rifle is the Infiltrator’s high damage weapon of choice, but a precision-based assault rifle is a nice alternative to fall back on and allows the build to engage enemies at medium and close ranges. Given that the assault rifle is designed to play with the Infiltrator well, we’ve gone for more precision-oriented perks in its skill tree, and a weapon like the N7 Valkyrie Burst Rifle or something similar is more suitable than the rapid-fire alternatives like the Cyclone Assault Rifle.
PeeBee is a great partner for this build for some much-needed crowd control and compliments either Vetra or Drax who can act as another reliable source of damage, as well as an effective bullet sponge.

Just because the Infiltrator historically has wielded sniper rifles doesn’t mean it has to be this way. Mass Effect Andromeda gives you plenty of ways to tweak builds and strategies and do something different for a change. This is what the close-combat Infiltrator accomplishes.
This build keeps the assault rifle loadout similar to the previous build but swaps the sniper rifle for a shotgun, enabling the class to engage the enemy up close and personal. Rather than simply use the Tactical Cloak for a damage buff, this loadout can use it as an escape tool, getting into the thick of the fighting and then jump right back out again when things get too hairy. With Escape Artist, the Tactical Cloak will allow the player to recover their shields, even while the ability is active. Gta 5 download pc gratis.
The Flamethrower is an incredibly underrated tech skill that does phenomenal damage, especially to armor, and compliments this Infiltrator’s close-range approach. Concussive Shot acts as a detonator and can be used for minor crowd control when you find yourself outgunned.
The Asari Sword or Remnant Cryo Gauntlet are your best options for a dedicated melee weapon. The sword is the best in terms of raw damage but the freezing effect of the Cryo Gauntlet can help make tough firefights a bit more manageable. Play around with both and see what fits your playstyle.
Liam is a great addition to this build, first for Overload, (as always) and also for his Frag Grenade and Havoc Strike abilities. Liam’s grenades make for good crowd control, something this build may sometimes struggle with, and Havoc Strike enables Liam to run interference on specific enemies, reducing the amount of fire coming your way. PeeBee or Jaal work in a similar fashion, providing more crowd control or debuff options respectively.

I was wanting to know if I could get help with creating a new set of armor using parts of armor from other full body sets. I wanted to make armor that used the Collector helmet, Cerberus Shade Armor Torso, Blood Dragon Armor Arms, Cerberus Ajax Armor Legs. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could make this, even if its as a full body set or enabling them for selection in the individual parts area? Any hints help, or help actually doing it would be awesome. Thanks.

Equipment - Armor
Manufacturers[edit]
Manufacturers may make several different models of armor, but the stats for different models from the same manufacturer are identical. This means that the choice between two armors sometimes comes down to aesthetics (and cost).
While you'll randomly encounter equipment from each manufacturer as the game progresses, purchasing manufacturer licenses from merchants makes items from that manufacturer available from the Normandy Requisitions Officer. The Requisitions Officer is located on the bottom level of the Normandy.
Armor Weight[edit]
Not all characters can wear Medium and Heavy armor. These armors only become available as you level up your Basic and Combat Armor Skills. Quarians can only wear light armor. Light armor provides a general boost in Tech/Biotic protection and Heavy armors provide a boost in Damage protection.
Alien Armor[edit]
Most models of armor are made for every body type - and don't worry - your frog-monster's armor will have the same stats as all the other prettier aliens' versions. Some armor, like the krogan Warlord set, is available for only one species.

There are a whole tier of unique looking armors that you can't get normally ingame. You can see them here (includes console codes).
As you can see they are really cool and looks much better than any vanilla armors in the game, which is why I always use them any time I play ME1. They are also really good.
HOW TO ACQUIRE THEM
- Step one is to enable the dev console. You need to do this to give yourself the item, since it doesn't exist in the game world. Follow this guide to enable the dev console.
- Go to this website to see the console codes for each armor and find the code for the armor you want
- Open up the dev console in the game (after you've loaded a save) and then write in the code, it will then appear in your inventory or on Shepard.
NOTE: The codes from that website will only give you light armors at level 10. Below I will go through how to add any armor type and any level.
You can choose both armor level and type (Light, medium, heavy) by changing the code slightly. For example:
giveitem self 10 humanL manf_HKShadow_Armor_Janissary
Will give you a light armor at level 10. The number in the code signify item level and the 'L' at the end of the word 'human' signify armor type (L = light, M = Medium, H = Heavy)
So if we wanted a heavy armor at level 5 we would put in the code:
giveitem self 5 humanH manf_HKShadow_Armor_Janissary
So if you want the first white armor from the list (in the website) you want to change the number value and letter at the end of 'human' to fit your character. Of course if you want to roll around in a level 10 armor right from the start of the game you can do that, bu only certain classes can have Heavy or Medium armor.
And that's it! If you got any questions just post them!
